Jumper

A component part consisting of two or more metal pins and a plastic clip with an internal metal band that allows the user to reset DMP panels and configure the operation of hardware devices. Generally, jumpers are used when there is more than one option the user can select, such as baud rate, for a particular application. See Reset Jumper.

Junction Box

An enclosure for making an electrical connection or splice.
